High School Sweethearts
I grew up in Seagoville up until 2010 when I moved to Mabank during my freshman year of High School. Little did I realize I would be meeting my soul-mate at good ol' Mabank High. I'll never forget walking into 7th period math class & seeing Kara for the first time. My first thought that day was how beautiful she was & the preceding thought afterward was "She's way out of my league, I have no chance!". It wasn't until the summer of 2012 that I became brave enough to finally ask her out. It was from that day on we started our journey together. We both graduated Mabank HS in 2014 & decided to move in together shortly afterwards. We were eager for adventure, to be partners in crime & conquer the world together. I proposed to her on our 4 year anniversary after purchasing our first home together & we married on April 1st, 2017. This year we celebrated 6 years of marriage & 11 years of being together! We've had our ups & downs, hurt together, loved together, cried together, laughed together & grown up together. I love that we will continue to grow & learn together. I get to experience this life with my best friend & I wouldn't have it any other way.
The Huffman Family
I've been blessed to be the oldest brother in the bunch of my four siblings: Dustin, Joshua, Cooper & Samantha. As the oldest, I either got away with everything or everything was pinned on me to set the example. To this day I wouldn't trade it for the world. Strangely enough, each of us grew up in shockingly different ways. It's been amazing to see each of them rise up, continue to grow into the best versions of themselves, strive for their passions. I try my best to help & support them in any way I can. I know each one of us, in our own unique ways, have made our parents & grandparents proud. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my family as we each continue down our own roads. May our family get togethers become larger in numbers and love for the years to come!
Our Fur Babies
Charlie is our first pup. He's our 9 year old Jack-Russell Boston terrier mix that loves his naps, blankets, and licking you to death!
Marcie is our second pup. She's our 7 year old Chihuahua mix. Although she is the smallest of the bunch, she's probably the bravest!
Elsie is our third pup. She's our 5 year old Australian Shepherd & Pitt mix that loves her red ball & swimming in her doggie pool!
Maggie is our fourth pup. She's our 1 year old German Shepherd & Pitt mix. The most clumsy yet biggest & fastest in the pack!
